KSAP-824B Control Device is designed to control, monitor and protect one or two single pumps. 

During system operation, only one pump runs at a time; simultaneous operation of both pumps is not supported.

 

Main functions:

 Selection of the corresponding water level setting and filling/drainage function using the “SET” DIP switch settings: 

  Filling mode: the pump starts when the water level is low and stops when the water level is high. 

  Drainage mode: the pump starts when the water level is high and stops when the water level is low.

 Water level regulation via analog signal

 Timebased pump alternation (every 24 hours) to ensure equal operating time of both pumps

 External circuit fault pump protection

 Pump overheat protection (WSK)

 Motor overcurrent protection

 Frequent start/stop fault pump protection

 Pump dryrun protection

 

Pump operation indicator: lights during pump operation, flashes in case of pump fault

Equipment Used in Combination: 

A level measuring device with a passive signal of 420 mA (twowires)

 

Application Scenarios: 

Remote pump start/stop is carried out via an analog signal (4–20 mA) from an external level sensor, providing automatic filling/drainage functions.

 

Two operating modes are available:

 Automatic pump start at low level and automatic stop at high level

 Automatic pump start at high level and automatic stop at low level

 

Control and protection of one or two single pumps is supported. During system operation, 

only one pump runs at a time; simultaneous operation of both pumps is not supported. 

Timebased pump alternation every 24 hours. In case of failure of the main pump, switching to the standby pump is performed automatically.

 

Suitable for the following (but not limited to) cases:

 Automatic filling/emptying of water tanks, water towers, reservoirs, etc.
